We reserve the right to refuse anyone admittance to class if deemed inappropriate for the class, the individual, or Dance Teq.
Students must attend classes that are appropriate to their own level of ability.
Change Rooms and Washrooms – Please leave the change rooms and washrooms clean and tidy. Please do not leave personal items behind, bring your Purses, cell phones (turned off) to the studio with you.
Bikes and Blades – Bicycles, Skateboards, and Roller blades are not allowed in the buildings.
Cell Phones – Please turn off all cell-phones before class, and refrain from using them in the change rooms.
Food – No Food, Gum or Open Liquid Containers are allowed inside the studios.
No Powder or Talc on the Floors – Please be careful when using body oils, lotions or creams, for they can transfer to the studio floors and make them slick.
Writing of Dance Notes – The Writing of Dance Notes (Dance Notation of any kinds) of any class is prohibited, except when the teacher has given permission and Dance Teq has been notified.
After Classes - Please vacate the class studio within a reasonable time after the class. There may be subsequent classes scheduled.
Stretching – If you only do barre , there may not be enough space to stretch while the class continues, so please take your stretching to the side area.
Late Arrival – No one will be allowed into class if you are more than 10 minutes late, unless we know there are problems with the TTC or weather. Please warm up before joining the class, and be considerate to the teacher and the students already in the class session.
If you are late for ballet class and not sure of what space to work in, ask the instructor. Centre floor ballet barres are designed for 2 people on each side.
General Etiquette in the Building – Please behave in a respectful manner at the Dance Teq Centre. This means no disruptive language, physical property damage, and the like.
Generally leave all outdoor footwear in foyer of the Dance Teq Centre.
Dance Teq Director
